Summary Profile The Buyer is responsible for procuring materials, components, and finished goods for the production of medical devices, This role ensures that all purchases align with company requirements, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires the ability to read engineering drawings, calculate accurate safety stock levels, lead times, and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure continuous production without shortages. Duties & Responsibilities Procurement & Supplier Management Place purchase orders based on forecasts, minimum order quantities, and customer demand.

Research, evaluate, and negotiate with multiple vendors to secure optimal pricing, quality, delivery performance, and terms. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply, compliance, and reliable lead times. Prepare for supplier meetings, document follow-up actions, and maintain detailed supplier records. Identify actual or potential material shortages; develop and execute recovery plans; communicate status updates to stakeholders. Generate ad-hoc reports and data summaries to support decision-making, combining information from cross-functional systems and sources.

Process returns to vendors (RTVs) and manage related follow-up. Proactively identify current and emerging product shortages or material delays, create and execute recovery plans, and keep stakeholders informed on status and timelines. Track and report on purchasing spend, cost variances, and procurement-related savings opportunitiesERP & Data Integrity Own and update all supplier data within the ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of pricing, lead times, freight terms, MOQ, payment terms, and other contractual requirements. Maintain item master integrity related to procurement attributes, safety stock levels, and lead time calculations.

Authorized to make purchasing decisions within assigned limits, in accordance with the company authority matrix and approval thresholds. Quality& Compliance Ensure all purchasing activities follow ISO 13485 Quality Management System requirements, including documentation, traceability, and supplier qualification. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to evaluate and monitor suppliers, support NCR/CAPA activities, and ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Support internal and external audits by providing purchasing documentation, records, and supplier information as requiredESSENCIAL Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or buyer roles within a manufacturing environment. Experience managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and procurement activities. Experience negotiating pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers. Experience identifying material shortages and executing recovery plans to support production continuity. Experience working with ERP systems and maintaining purchasing master data (pricing, lead times, supplier information, and item master).

Solid understanding of purchasing processes, inventory management, and material planning. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. PREFFER QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Electronics, or other regulated manufacturing industry. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Acumatica, or similar.

Knowledge of MRP, forecasting, inventory planning, and demand planning. Experience leading cost reduction initiatives, supplier performance improvement, or strategic sourcing projects. English-B2+
